Earlham College

Alyssa is joining the Quakers from Amarillo, Texas and is planning on studying computer science. A fan of Orlando City and Alex Morgan, Alyssa tries to model her play off of Morgan’s speed, technical ability, runs off the ball, and finishing. Her Dad shaped her the most growing up. “He would always take me out to do stuff. We would go horseback riding, go karts, and to Sports World. We were always actively doing something, not just sitting at home doing nothing.” She tried a lot of sports growing up but stuck with soccer because of the pace of the game and constant action. Soccer is a big motivation to keep pushing herself and setting new goals to achieve. Alyssa is excited to come to Earlham and the independence that comes with it. “I am not coming to Earlham with any expectations and keeping an open mind, I am going to see how things go and find out more about myself.” A creative attacking player, Alyssa is a hard worker on the field and prides herself on her off ball movement, pace, and close control. ECWS is excited to have her joining them and are eager to see what she can bring to the program within her first year!

Why Earlham?
“It was the visit that I had, because all the other schools that I visited I could kind of see myself at but at Earlham I could literally see myself going to Earlham, having friends, and playing soccer.”
