Earlham College

Hailing from Elyria, Ohio Amiah is a fun, kind, and passionate individual who puts her all into everything she does. She was introduced to soccer by her dad at a young age who has continued to be her training partner and help her develop over the years. “I just loved it. I loved the speed of the game, the players, and the coaching. The way it keeps you busy, but you have to have the right mindset to go into the game.” Inspired by Crystal Dunn, Amiah is a defender who takes pride in her ability to read a player, know what they are going to do, and keep them in front of her. Amiah plans to study chemistry on the pre-vet track at Earlham and is looking forward to “coming into a new environment, meeting new people, getting to play soccer, studying a major that I’ve wanted to study since I can remember.” ECWS is excited to have Amiah joining them and are eager to see what she can bring to the program within her first year!

Why Earlham?
“Knowing that I would have the most support on the soccer team and off. Even the teachers. I felt like they would definitely help me if I needed more time with anything and I felt like the coaching staff really cared about their players and not just the numbers.”
