Earlham College

Bailey Turner grew up in Opelika, Alabama, and is planning to major in Environmental Sustainability with a minor in Business at Earlham. Her love for soccer began at just four years old when her mom signed her up for her first season. After getting knocked down and bursting into tears, her mom told her that if she didn't stop crying they would go home. Bailey stayed on the field, never cried again, and says that moment cemented her love for the game. She credits her mom for shaping the person she is today by teaching her the value of hard work and perseverance. Bailey looks up to former USWNT star Tobin Heath and prides herself on seeing the entire field while contributing relentlessly on both offense and defense. 

After being told by a coach that she would never play college soccer, Bailey used those words as motivation, making the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level one of her proudest accomplishments. She is excited to broaden her horizons by moving north, meeting new people, and earning meaningful minutes during her freshman season. Those who know her describe her as loyal, dependable, driven, and respectful, and she strives to live those values both on and off the field.
