Biography
Originally from Dale, IN. Chelsey is majoring in digital arts at Earlham College. Being the youngest in her family with three older sisters Chelsey looks up to each of her sisters and cites them as big motivators in helping her make it to the college level as a soccer player. Chelsey is a very community and relationship oriented person and is recognized for her kind heart and willingness to help her community. “I want to learn different aspects from different things, to improve myself and to hopefully improve others around me.” Chelsey is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals MLB team, but looks up to Julie Ertz as a soccer role model for her work ethic. Her first season with the quakers was hampered by injuries and the coaching staff are excited to see how she is able to contribute as a sophomore.
Why Earlham?
“I met with the team and connected with them. There was a great atmosphere and when I met with admissions, they were so welcoming and able to help. Overall, it just felt like a family and that’s how a small town feels. It feels like one giant family. And to know that Earlham was feeling the same, really helped me decide.”
