Earlham College

Diane grew up in Phoenix, AZ and is a Museum Studies major with a minor in AACS and Business. She likes learning from people of the past and rediscovering techniques that can help improve our future. Diane has loved playing soccer from a young age and holds great admiration for Megan Rapinoe of the USWNT,  “because of her strength on and off the field with all that she battles through her life. I think she is probably one of my favorite athletes and definitely one of my heroes for sure.” Growing up, Diane credits a lot of her growth to her family for pushing her to be independent and allowing her to discover things on her own and takes pride in her strength in the face of challenge and adversity.  


While at Earlham Diane has become heavily involved in campus organizations such as THO and Humanities Club. She is also a student worker for the Joseph Moore Museum and Earlham Athletics. Diane received second team all conference recognition for her contributions to the team in the midfield her junior year and is returning to the Quakers as a captain for her senior season.  

 
Why Earlham?  
 

“When I was looking for schools, I wanted a school that could provide me with good athletic and academic competition. I wanted a school where I was not just another face in the crowd and where I mattered to my teachers and peers. Earlham provides just that. Earlham provided the community I was searching for during my college search. Everyone on campus felt welcoming and open. I chose to stick with the soccer team because of the care from Lydia, Padgett, and everyone on the team to become better each year and strive for big goals. Not only did I want a place that would help me become a greater student, but also a greater athlete, and Earlham is just that!”
