2023 Women's Soccer Roster
Biography
Em Tallitsch joins the Quakers from Saint Charles, Illinois and is majoring in Environmental Sustainability. A big fan of the Chicago Fire WPSL team, Em started playing soccer at the age of four with their grandmother in their backyard. “I have had a lot of ups and downs with soccer but I have always had a lot of love for the game and learned a lot. I like how it pushes me out of my comfort zone.” A friendly and down to earth presence on the team Em leads camping trips to the Boundary Waters of Minnesota. Those experiences helped to shape their passion for the environment. “I have always been a math science person so I kind of took a leap to major in environmental sustainability and so far I really like it.” Em joined the quakers as a goalkeeper by trade but has played as a defender the past two seasons as an outside back and center back. They regained possession of the quakers approximately 136 times last season. Their versatility and willingness to adapt helped the Quakers keep 7 clean sheets last season and achieve a record better than the last four seasons.
Why Earlham?
“I wasn’t sure what I wanted out of a school, I knew that I wanted a smaller close community and obviously this is the place to go for that. I thought the idea of knowing everyone and knowing who your people are was really appealing. Also, when I visited, the team was super nice to me.” Hannah Skene
