Earlham College

Originally from Greenfield, IN, Hannah is studying Biology on the Pre-Veterinary track, with a lifelong dream of attending veterinary school. During her time at Earlham, she has excelled both in and out of the classroom as a McNair Scholar and Earlham Science Scholar. She is also an event coordinator for the Pre Health Club and a member of THO. Her passion for veterinary medicine has led her to complete three semesters of internships with Animal Care Alliance, with plans to continue into her fourth semester. Hannah has also participated in collaborative summer research with Lexie, presenting their work at three different conferences. 

Beyond academics, Hannah values opportunities to explore, lead, and give back to her community. Through the LIFT program for first-generation students, she traveled to Scotland and England and hiked Hadrian’s Wall. She also started a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society in honor of her dad and has raised more than $3,000. Her family remains a major source of inspiration, with her parents serving as her biggest role models and helping shape who she is today. Hannah explains that they taught her not just what to do, but why it was important. Hannah is a goalkeeper that thrives under pressure and is eager to improve. She wants to be known in her team by being ambitious, hardworking, and goal-oriented.

“Whenever I am at Earlham, I feel a sense of community. Whether it is in class, around campus, or with my team, I feel like I am a part of something bigger. The team made me feel very welcome as a freshman, and continued to do so throughout the years. I have chosen to continue my education at Earlham and have stayed because of the sense of community and because the team is very supportive. The team has also given me many new best friends, and they continue to support me throughout every stage of life. Even the coaches are understanding and very supportive, which is what I wanted in coaches. I could not imagine continuing my undergrad education anywhere else and without the team.”`
