Biography

Isabel, aka “Isa,” grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and is planning on studying biology with a minor in environmental science. Her Dad, an Earlham alumni and former member of the men’s soccer team, is a big reason why she started playing soccer and plays to this day “He kind of put me in it as a little kid and I never stopped”. A fan of Megan Rapinoe, Isa likes the community and friendships that soccer creates. Isa stopped playing soccer briefly because of covid and missed her sophomore and junior years of highschool. However, she had a triumphant return to the game and made varsity her senior year. “I was nervous to try out for highschool after not playing. My mom bought me cleats and said, ‘Now you have to try out.” Isa is a versatile and athletic player that can play anywhere on the width or follow in her dad’s footsteps and play up top. She had a great start to her Earlham career with eight goal contributions (six goals and 2 assists. Leading the Quakers front line she helped the team score more goals than the season before.

Why Earlham?
“I like that it is a small school and that I am not just a number. I also wanted to play soccer and Earlham is close to my house. I have younger siblings and I didn’t want to miss seeing them grow up.”
