Jadie Colvin lights up the training pitch with an infectious energy and work ethic. Colvin found herself playing out of position her first season with the Quakers and fearlessly took on the challenge. Now a winger, Jadie grew up in Fairfield, Ohio, and started playing soccer with her younger sister. “My siblings have just been a force of motivation for me throughout my life. As well as my parents.” Colvin cites one of her influences with taking up soccer as wanting to be better than her younger sister. Mitch Hildebrandt is one of her favorite goalies and when he played for FC Cincinnati she got to meet him four times. Jadie is an RA on campus as well as a social work major and spent the spring semester of her Junior year in Boston taking classes with the College for Social Innovation and working with Common Cathedral. An exquisite violinist, Jadie performs at Earlham and for the Mason Symphony Orchestra. Jadie wants to enjoy her final season of competitive soccer and win conference.
