2025 Women's Soccer Roster
Biography
A dual-sport athlete from Delaware, Ohio, Sammy is deciding between Environmental Science and Exercise, Sport, and Health Studies as a major. She started soccer at age 5, with her dad as her first coach, fostering her love for the game and competitive edge. Sammy values soccer for both its competition and the connections it builds, often attending Columbus Crew and Ohio State games with her family. As a winger or attacking outside back, she admires Alex Morgan’s bold, strategic play and brings speed, strong soccer IQ, and precise crosses to her own game. “I just like how aggressive she was up top, and she always found the right angles to shoot and score.” Sammy takes pride in balancing academics and athletics and aims to grow as an individual while building strong team connections at Earlham.
Sammy had a strong start as a Quaker in her first year, appearing in 15 games and starting 7. She showcased her versatility as both an outside back and winger and earned her first collegiate goal against Albion.
Why Earlham?
"I think everyone says this, but when I stepped on campus here, I just felt it—this is where I want my home to be for the next four years. What really added to that feeling was the community vibe. It's small, and everyone feels so close. When I walk around, it feels like I’ve seen everyone before, even though I know I haven’t. I love that feeling of closeness and care."
