2024 will be Cal Pringle’s 4th season with Earlham women’s volleyball, and first season since being named the full-time assistant coach over the summer.
In 2023, Pringle was named technical coordinator in addition to serving as a graduate assistant coach. As technical coordinator they manage and analyze game and practice film, generate and analyze advanced statistics, provide data-driven strategy and training advice, and facilitate athlete self-reflection with film.
Pringle was named graduate assistant in June of 2022.
2021 was Pringle’s first year with ECVB when they joined as a volunteer assistant.
Before coming to Earlham, they coached two seasons of high school junior varsity at Douglas Southall Freeman high school in Richmond, VA. They also coached two summers of Chinese 9-man volleyball with the women’s program of the Chinese Youth Club in Rockville, MD.
Pringle is currently pursuing a Master’s of Divinity with a teaching emphasis at Earlham School of Religion. Pringle holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law with a philosophy concentration from University of Richmond, where they player/coached for the men’s club volleyball team.
