RICHMOND, Ind. — The
Earlham College men's tennis team picked up a 9-0 victory on Wednesday over
Central State University in non-conference action on the EC Tennis Courts.
Earlham began the day with three wins in doubles.
Brad Maisey and
Nabil Parkar beat Ali Russell and Demarcl Kinamole 8-2 at No. 1.
Aaron Weeden and
David Bluestein defeated Larry Jones and Darrick Morgan 8-0 at No. 2.
At No. 3 doubles,
Johnny Kauffman and
George Bouchard blanked Zack Davis and Cole Prophet 8-0.
In singles action, Maisey took care of Russell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1. Parkar defeated Kinamole 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2.
At No. 3 singles, Kauffman beat Jones 6-0, 6-0. Weeden won 6-0, 6-0 over
Davis at No. 4. Blustein grabbed a 6-0, 6-0 win over Morgan at No. 5, while
Steven Gotama took at 6-0, 6-0 decision from Prophet at No. 6..
The Quakers (4-6) play host to
Calvin College on Friday. The non-conference contest gets underway at 4 p.m.
