RICHMOND, Ind. — The
Earlham College men's tennis team picked up a 9-0 victory on Tuesday over
Wilmington College in non-conference action on the EC Tennis Courts.
The Quakers started the afternoon by winning all three doubles contests.
Nabil Parkar and
Aaron Weeden defeated Dylan Swormstedt and Josh Kincaid 9-7 at No. 1 doubles. At No. 2,
Brad Maisey and
David Bluestein beat Dustin Anderson and Connor LaVelle 8-1.
At No. 3 doubles,
Johnny Kauffman and
George Bouchard blanked Jon Crook and Clyde Boswell 8-0.
Earlham also won all of the matches in singles as Maisey beat LaVelle 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 and Parkar won 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-8) at No. 2.
Kauffman defeated
Anderson 6-2, 6-0. Weeden won 6-0, 6-3 over Crook at No. 4. Bluestein took a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Kincaid at No. 5, while
Steven Gotama beat Justin Moore 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.
Earlham (5-9) entertains
Capital University on Thursday. The non-conference match begins at 4 p.m
