EC Plays at Anderson

Box Score ANDERSON, Ind. — The Earlham College women's basketball team played Anderson University on Saturday as the Quakers fell 67-44 in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest.

Bria Sneed (Indianapolis, IN, University) led the Quakers with 12 points, while Natasha Norman (St. Louis, MO, Vashon) finished with eight points and five rebounds with a team-high four assists.

Charvonne Long (Edwardsville, IL, Edwardsville) tossed in six points as she grabbed a team-high six rebounds.

The Quakers jumped out to an early advantage after Long scored to make it 8-4 with 14:27 left in the opening stanza.

Unfortunately for the Quakers, the Ravens (6-13, 4-8) scored the next eight points to go on top 12-8 with 12:55 remaining in the first half.

Anderson widened its margin to 36-22 by intermission.

The Ravens began the second half with eight straight points to build a 44-22 advantage with 15:26 and the Quakers couldn't recover.

Earlham (0-19, 0-12) entertains the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Wednesday. The HCAC affair on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center is at 7:30 p.m.
