RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College women's tennis team finished the fall season on Wednesday with a 5-4 loss to Hanover College on the EC Courts.

Earlham received three forfeits in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest from the Panthers (8-2, 7-2), while dropping a pair of singles matches to injury default.

Olivia Engle (Richmond, IN, Richmond) and Bailey Hall (Muncie, IN, Central) picked up a victory for the Quakers at No. 2 doubles as the duo defeated Heather Washburn and Kathleen Brinegar 8-5.

The Quakers end the year at 3-7 overall and 3-6 in the conference.
