Quakers Face Nationally-Ranked Franklin

Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College women's basketball team fell 77-29 to nationally-ranked Franklin College on Saturday afternoon.

The Grizzlies, ranked No. 19 in the latest d3hoops.com poll, are 9-0 overall and on top in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 4-0 mark.

Nikki Darrett (Evansville, IN, Bosse) and JaLissa Watt (St. Louis, MO, St. Elizabeth Academy ) led the Quakers with five points each in the contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Emily Sells (Winchester, IN, Winchester) was the top rebounder for Earlham with six, while Karmell Brown (Columbus, OH, Columbus School for Girls) grabbed five rebounds.

Danielle Altman (Carthage, IN, Knightstown) and Lauren Jackson (Upper Marlboro, MD, Thomas Sprigg Wootton) added four points apiece.

Earlham (1-7, 0-3) returns to action next Saturday at Anderson University. The HCAC contest begins at 1 p.m.
