RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College women's tennis team closed out its season on Sunday as the Quakers fell 8-1 to the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Olivia Engle (Richmond, IN, Richmond) and Claire Welsh (Ann Arbor, MI, Pioneer) picked up Earlham's win at No. 1 doubles with an 8-3 decision over Marie Stettler and Melissa Montgomery.

Earlham finished the season at 4-7 overall and 2-6 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Rose-Hulman is 10-2 and 7-1.
