Quakers Face Panthers

Box Score HANOVER, Ind. â€" The Earlham College women's basketball team dropped 92-65 decision on Saturday in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest at Hanover College.

Lexi McFarland was one of two Quakers in double digits with 15 points as she led the squad four assists. Raven Bryant-Williams tossed in 11 points.

Kasin Spay added nine points. JaLissa Watt grabbed a team-high seven rebounds to go with six points. Bria Sneed also finished with six points.

The Panthers (3-4, 2-1) scored the first six points of the contest before Sneed hit a basket at the 16:38 mark to make it 6-2.

Hanover added to its lead before Spay hit a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 14-8 at 14:34.

Earlham trailed by six points two more times with the last coming at 9:56 of the opening period when Watt scored to make it 18-12.

The Panthers built a 53-25 advantage by the intermission.

The Quakers (2-5, 1-2) return to the court on Thursday against St. Mary-of-the-Woods College at 5:30 p.m. The game is at the community center in Clinton, Ind.
