ANDERSON, Ind. â€" The Earlham College women's tennis team won a pair of singles matches as the Quakers fell 7-2 at Anderson University.

The Ravens (2-3, 1-1) swept the doubles competition in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match before the Quakers picked up a victory.

Claire Welsh defeated Sylvia Schering 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.

At No. 6 singles, Arrita Domi 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (11-9) over Julia Furness.

Earlham (1-4, 0-3) travels to Defiance College on Wednesday. The HCAC contest starts at 4 p.m.
