RICHMOND, Ind. â€" The Earlham College women's tennis team dropped its home opener 9-0 on Sunday to Otterbein University.

Claire Welsh played the tightest match of the contest at No. 1 singles as she fell to Sammi Kruger 6-0, 6-4.

The Quakers (1-1) face Indiana University-East on Tuesday in Glen Miller Park at 4 p.m.
