Quakers Win 66-53 over Anderson on Senior Day

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College women's basketball team celebrated Senior Day with a 66-53 victory over Anderson University.

JaLissa Watt was honored prior to Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Watt finished her career with four points, a game-high nine rebounds and three steals.

Mariah Flynn led the Quakers with a career-high 22 points against the Ravens (1-24, 0-18).

Lexi McFarland added 14 points and four assists. Hannah Franklin and Kiara Scott tossed in seven points each. Franklin also had five assists.

Anderson worked its way to an early 7-4 lead before the Quakers responded.

McFarland hit a 3-pointer to tie the contest at the 15:09 mark. Baskets by Shania Feathers and Franklin put the Quakers on top 11-7 with 13:36 to go in the opening period.

After the Ravens answered to lead 20-19, the Quakers end the half with a 34-26 advantage.

In the second half, the Quakers were able to pull away and eventually led 66-44 with 2:53 remaining.

Earlham ends the season with a 9-16 overall record and a 6-12 mark in the conference.
