LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Earlham College women's tennis team dropped a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) match 9-0 at the Transylvania Tennis Complex on Wednesday.
The Pioneers (1-1, 1-1 HCAC) swept the doubles flights. Senior Jordyn Grimes and sophomore Arrita Domi fell to Megan Dixon and Claire Mielcarek 8-1 at first doubles.
In singles, sophomore Lexi Aligrabes lost to Dixon 6-1, 6-1 at second singles.
The Quakers (0-3, 0-2 HCAC) return home for their next five contests. Earlham hosts HCAC foe Anderson at 10 a.m. on Saturday followed by North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) member Wittenberg at 4 p.m.
