RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team concluded Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play with a 9-0 loss to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon.
Junior Lexi Aligarbes and sophomore Chloe Culler won two games at first doubles while junior Kaitlin Morgan and sophomore Megan Howell won a game at third doubles. Ultimately, the Fightin' Engineers won all three doubles matches.
In singles, sophomore Robyn Thomas fell to Beata Barati 6-1, 7-5 at sixth singles. Morgan and junior Ziqi Wang each one a game at second and fifth singles respectively. Rose-Hulman was first, third, and fourth singles without losing a set.
The Quakers will host Thomas More College in the season finale on Wednesday, Oct. 12. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m.
