Box Score FRANKLIN, Indiana – A 10-0 run by Franklin College in the fourth quarter proved decisive as Earlham College women's basketball dropped a 64-55 decision to the Grizzlies, Saturday afternoon at the Spurlock Center.

THE SHORT STORY
Earlham headed into the fourth quarter trailing 41-40, and the Quakers quickly took a 42-41 lead on a layup by senior Camryn White. Franklin responded with a 10-0 run lasting just under three minutes, capped by Bayleigh Walker's layup at the 7:10 mark that left the Grizzlies with a 51-42 advantage.
The Quakers got back to within six points of the Grizzlies, and Earlham was still within striking distance of Franklin at 56-50 with 5:07 showing on the game clock after an offensive board and layup by junior Kayla Bowling. However Earlham's comeback effort stalled on 1-of-7 shooting over the final five minutes of the contest, and Franklin hung on for the win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Senior Zoe Curtis paced Earlham with 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field, with three assists and a block. First-year Trinity McClendon was the only other Earlham player in double figures with 10 points to go with four steals. White finished the game with nine points while Bowling tallied seven points in the loss.
Each team shot an identical 36.9 percent from the field, with the Quakers connecting on a 21-of-57 clip and the Grizzlies going 24-of-65 from the floor. Each team had four 3-pointers.
The Maroon and White committed a season-high 26 turnovers leading to 22 points for Franklin, while the Grizzlies also had a season-high with their 23 turnovers that resulted in 25 points for the Quakers.
Franklin had a 45-32 advantage on the boards.
