Box Score CINCINNATI, Ohio – Senior Kyra Joseph's jumper from the left wing with 2:08 remaining in the game lifted Earlham College women's basketball into a one-point lead, propelling the Quakers to a 60-57 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference win over Mount St. Joseph, Saturday afternoon at the Harrington Center.

THE SHORT STORY
Mount St. Joseph erased a six-point Earlham lead early in the fourth quarter and finally pulled in front, 57-56, on a layup by Aliyah Huff. After a minute of scoreless basketball, Acacia Tenette rebounded a missed free throw by MSJ's Maddie Haberthy and brought Earlham back down the floor where Joseph hit the go-ahead jumper. Amy Weisner capped the scoring with an intercepted pass and a breakaway layup in the final seconds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Senior Amy Weisner came off the bench to lead the Quakers with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor including three 3-pointers. Junior Rosie Newhart also gave a strong showing off the bench with 11 points on a 5-of-7 effort from the floor.
Senior Camryn White paced the starters with 10 points and a team-high seven rebounds.
Weisner and Newhart were each a +13 in the +/- department, with Weisner playing 30 minutes and Newhart seeing the floor for 19 minutes.
Earlham finished the game shooting 40.0 percent (22-of-55) from the floor with eight 3-pointers, while holding Mount St. Joseph to 37.0 percent (17-of-46) shooting. The Quakers dominated on the boards, 36-24.
Mount St. Joseph was led by Haberthy with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Kamryn McCool tallied 12 points.
