Women's tennis upended by Hanover

RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College women's tennis opened its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference slate with a 9-0 loss to defending conference champion Hanover College, Wednesday evening at the EC Tennis Court.

Camille van der Vaart had the best outing for the Quakers in her match at no. 3 singles, eventually falling 6-2, 6-4 to the Panthers' Sidney Goedeker.

Earlham returns to the courts on Saturday, Sept. 21, when the Quakers travel to North Manchester, Indiana, to face HCAC-rival Manchester University. Match time is 12:00 p.m.
