THE SHORT STORY
Earlham trailed by six, 22-16, at the halftime break after a see-saw opening half that saw four ties and eight lead changes.
The Quakers fought their way back into the lead late in the third quarter, tying the game on a Cambie Poole 3-pointers and moving ahead of the Ravens on a pair of Camryn White foul shots. Anderson responded with buckets from Carly Hackler and Payton Moore, and led 30-28 heading into the final quarter.
Amy Weisner put Earlham back in front of Anderson right out of the gate to start the closing frame with a 3-pointer, but the Ravens answered with back-to-back treys from Lexi Dellinger to force the Quakers to call a timeout to regroup. A Weisner layup coming out of the timeout pulled Earlham to within three, but that's as close as the Quakers would get to overtaking the Ravens. Anderson held at least a two-possession lead the rest of the way, peaking at 13 points, 51-38, with 1:29 remaining on a Dellinger jumper.
