OBERLIN, Ohio -- The Earlham College field hockey team won its second North Coast Athletic Conference contest in as many days when the Quakers won 1-0 over Oberlin College on Sunday.
The Quakers improved to 11-1 (2-0 NCAC) while the Yeowomen fell to 0-11 (0-3 NCAC).
Denise Bergdolt was once again the difference maker for the Quakers. The senior from Mannheim, Germany picked up a loose ball in front of the goal in the 39th minute and slotted her shot behind the Yeo goalkeeper for the score.
Bergdolt led Earlham in shots with seven on the afternoon.
Earlham took 19 shots and held Oberlin to zero in the contest.
Meg Murphy took the win in the goal.
Earlham's next contest will be a home game against Wooster next Saturday. The match is scheduled for noon and is a Pride Game.
