FRANKLIN -- The Earlham College women's soccer team continues Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action with a 1-0 loss at Franklin College on Saturday.
The Quakers fell to 1-8 (0-3 HCAC) while the Grizzlies improved to 3-8 (2-2 HCAC).
Franklin scored in the 25th minute and retained that lead through the duration of the match.
Eva Lyon led the Earlham offense with five total shots, three of which were on goal.
Becca Hancock recorded four saves in between the pipes.
The Quakers were out-shot 12-5 but tallied one more corner kick than the home team.
Earlham will play at Bluffton on Wednesday for more HCAC competition. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.
