FRANKLIN -- The Earlham College men's soccer team took a 6-0 beating at Franklin College on Saturday.
The Quakers fell to 0-1 (0-4 HCAC) while the Grizzlies improved to 3-7-1 (1-2-1 HCAC).
The Grizzlies started the game off with a goal in the third minute of play. Their fast start continued with two more goals in the first half.
Earlham was beaten in shots 17-4 and trailed 6-4 in corner kicks.
Tyler Smith made four saves in goal.
Earlham will host Bluffton on Wednesday to continue HCAC competition. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.
