GAMBIER, Ohio -- The Earlham College women's basketball team came out of the Thanksgiving break with a 77-35 loss to Kenyon College on the road.
The Quakers fell to 0-3 while the Ladies improved to 2-5.
Janaiya Bright led the offense with nine points and one offensive rebound. The Quakers were strong under the rim with 40 boards as a team, being led by
Alexis Gibson and
Kinzi Brooks with seven each.
The Quakers scored first in the contest but relinquished their lead early in the first quarter and struggled to keep pace with the high-powered Kenyon offense. The visitors recorded just one 3-point score out of 15 attempts from distance.
