ANDERSON – The Earlham College women's basketball team fell to the Ravens of Anderson University 91-48 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday.
The Quakers fell to 0-8 (0-3 HCAC) and the Ravens improved to 4-5 (1-1 HCAC).
Alexis Gibson,
Willow Runyon and
Amari Bradford all hit double-digit points in the road loss.
Midway through the first quarter the score was tied thanks to some accurate shooting from Gibson and Runyon at the start.
A 9-1 run over the next three minutes for the Ravens gave them a lead which they only extended as the contest progressed.
The Quakers will be on the road next Saturday as they travel to Spalding University for a 2 pm contest in Ky.
