ANDERSON, Indiana – Anderson University scored early in each half and defended its home pitch in a 2-0 win over the visiting Earlham College women's soccer team, in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match on Wednesday at Macholtz Stadium.

Maria Young on a shot in the 14th minute to put Anderson up 1-0, with Hannah Planck getting credit for the assist.
In the second half, Jessica Pulaski scored for the Ravens in the 48th minute to extend the Anderson lead to 2-0.
Young finished the day with six saves in the Earlham goal. Anderson outshot Earlham, 20-5, but the Quakers had five corner kick opportunities to the Ravens' two.

Earlham women's soccer returns home for its next contest on Saturday, March 13, when Manchester University visits the Quakers. Game time at Darrell Beane Stadium is slated for 1:00 p.m.
