SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Earlham College field hockey team continued North Coast Athletic Conference play at Wittenberg University with a 2-0 loss on Saturday.
The Quakers held a shutout over the Tigers for three quarters of play, with the two scores coming in the opening minutes of the second half.
The teams tied with seven shots each, but Earlham was more accurate with all seven shots landing on frame.
Sydney Schmitt and
Jalyn Kelsey both clocked two shots on the afternoon.
The Quakers led in penalty corner opportunities 4-3.
Rachel Alma collected three saves in goal.
Earlham will continue its season on Wednesday at DePauw University at 5 pm before the season finale at home against Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.
