WOOSTER, Ohio – The Earlham College field hockey team began its North Coast Athletic Conference schedule with a 1-0 loss to the College of Wooster on Saturday.
The Scots recorded their goal on a deflected shot coming off of a penalty corner play in the opening minutes of the fourth quarter.
Earlham was outshot 17-0 on the afternoon.
Rachel Alma collected six saves in the cage, and
Alyssa Johnson recorded one defensive save.
Earlham continues conference play tomorrow with an away contest against Kenyon beginning at noon.
