CARMEL, Ind. – On Monday, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced Alexis Gibson as this week's women's basketball Athlete of the Week. 

Gibson led the Quakers this week in a loss to Anderson University with 19 points, 19 rebounds, and five assists. The sophomore has now scored a double-double in two consecutive games for EC. 

On the season, Gibson leads the Quakers with 57 total rebounds. Earlham is currently in eighth place in the HCAC standings with a 2-2 conference record.
