TERRE HAUTE – The Earlham College women's basketball team continued its 2021-22 season with a loss at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a final score of 81-43.
The Quakers fell to 0-16 (0-9 HCAC) while the Fightin' Engineers improved to 8-6 (6-3 HCAC).
Amari Bradford led the Quakers with 16 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Willow Runyon also scored double-digits with 10 points.
The Quaker offense struggled to keep pace with the Engineers and trailed 46-19 at halftime with a 31% shooting percentage.
Earlham saw an improved offensive output in the final frame of play. The Quakers shot at a 42% clip and kept pace with the Engineers through the period.
The Quakers will be back in action at Hanover College on Saturday as part of a doubleheader against the Panthers. The women's game will tip-off at 1 pm.
