RICHMOND – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team dropped its first home game of the season after losing to DePauw University 14-3 on Wednesday evening.
The Quakers fell to 2-3 while the Tigers improved to 1-4.

Sam Sargent led the Quakers with two goals off of seven shots.
Logan Reihing recorded the other Ealrham goal during a man-up opportunity.
Emmitt Shaughnessy collected 13 saves in the cage for Earlham.
The Quakers were outshot 64-14 on the evening, and only succeeded on 13-of-32 clear attempts. The Tigers were a perfect 21-for-21 on faceoffs.
The Tigers scored a trio of goals in both the first and second quarters to lead 6-0 at the break. Sargent scored the first Quaker goal in the opening minute of the third quarter, unassisted.
DePauw responded with five goals in the remainder of the third quarter. Reihing and Sargent began the fourth quarter scoring in the opening seven minutes before the Tigers took over again.
The Quakers will be back in Darrell Beane on Saturday to host Hiram College at 1 pm.
