Trailing 8-0, Earlham got its first run of the game via a walk by Devin Basley which brought Robby Shondel home. A fielder's choice play from Maxwell Fries later in the inning allowed shortstop Zach Swearingen to reach home plate and make the score 8-2.

Medley reached home in the top of the fourth inning after an error by the Tiger catcher.

The scored off of a walk in the bottom of the fourth before a two-run fifth inning from the Quakers. Bradley shot a double to right center field that allowed Nathan Lancianese to stroll around the basepath for the stand-up score. Later in the inning, Christian Lancianese hit a single through the left side to bring Bradley home for a score.
