RICHMOND – The Earlham College women's lacrosse team hosted DePauw University in Darrell Beane Stadium on Wednesday evening. The Tigers defeated Earlham with a final score of 20-1.
The Quakers fell to 1-7 while the Tigers improved to 9-1.
Josie Whorton scored the lone goal of the evening for Earlham in the fourth quarter with an assist from
Mollie Lyon.
Mackenzie Kotch collected nine saves in goal for the Quake.
Earlham was outshot 38-8 and trailed 26-14 in ground balls.
The Quakers will be back in action in Darrell Beane on Saturday against Franklin College for Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference action.
