BEXLEY, Ohio – The Earlham College women's tennis team fell to Capital University by a score of 8-1 on Sunday. 

Maddie Cherry played a two-hour long match to make her first win in a Quaker uniform as the No. 1 single 7-5, 7-5. 

"I am proud of the way all the girls played today," said head coach Todd Tucker. "They fight very hard and we are getting better everyday."

Earlham will be back on the court on Wednesday at Anderson University with a 4 pm start time.
