RICHMOND – The Earlham College men's soccer team fell to Wittenberg University 3-0 in Matlack-Messer Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
The Quakers fell to 2-3-1 on the season.
The Tigers started scoring in the 23rd minute, and added two goals late in the second half.
The Quakers were outshot 19-4, and only registered one shot in the second half. Despite the shot total, Earlham held an advantage in corner kicks 6-4.
Four Quakers registered one shot on the afternoon.
In his first start of his career,
Duncan Jordahl collected seven saves in goal.
Earlham will be back in action on Saturday for its first road contest of the season at Baldwin Wallace University. Kickoff is slated for 7 pm.
