HANOVER, Ind. – The Earlham College women's basketball team fell to Hanover College 67-48 as part of a doubleheader on Saturday.
Alexis Gibson led the Quaker offense with 16 points and six rebounds in the contest. Fellow sophomore
Amari Bradford recorded 10 points, and led the squad in rebounds with nine.
Hanover jumped out to an early lead with an 18-8 advantage in the first quarter of play. The Quakers recovered in the second frame to trail 30-25 going into the halftime break. The Panthers then outscored the Quakers 37-23 through the second half.
Earlham will be back in action on Wednesday evening at Bluffton College. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 pm.
