RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team drew level with Defiance College in a 1-1 tie on Wednesday afternoon.
Quentin Berry led the offense with three shots, and one on goal.
Earlham took six shots in the first half of play, and held the Yellow Jackets to just two, as the teams remained scoreless after 45 minutes.
In the 64th minute, Defiance got a goal on a loose ball in the Quaker penalty area. Earlham responded in the 87th minute, with a goal from
Braden Guinn on a free kick.
Tyler Smith collected four saves in goal.
The Quakers continue HCAC play at Mount St. Joseph on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 8:30 pm.
