GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Earlham College women's basketball team improved to 2-2 on the season with a 71-58 win over Kuyper College on Tuesday afternoon.
Jay Bright led the Quakers with 20 points, four steals, and five assists.
Alexis Gibson pulled in a game-high 11 rebounds while adding eight points.
Amari Wright reached double digits with 10 points.
The Quakers had their most efficient day of the season, shooting 41.2% on field goals.
The Quakers took the lead on a 6-0 run in the final two minutes of the first half, and held the advantage the entire contest.
The Quakers will be back after Thanksgiving to take on Kenyon College on November 28. After the Owls, EC continues HCAC action at Anderson University on December 6th.
