RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's basketball team fell to defending conference champions Anderson University 73-54 on Wednesday evening in Druley Performance Gym.
Ken Walker led the Quakers in nearly every category with 12 points, six boards, four assists and two steals.
Jordan Stolle scored 10 points, and recorded his first career block in the loss.
Aidan Temple brought down six rebounds, and
Kendell Cave blocked three shots.
Despite trailing for the contest, the Quakers never fell behind by more than 12 points until the midway point of the second half.
Trailing 32-20 with 3:19 remaining in the first half, the Quakers scored a 7-0 run to end the half. The run included two steals on defense, and one block for the Quakers.
Trailing 38-29 just under five minutes into the second half, Earlham scored a 6-0 run to trail by just three points.
Earlham will continue HCAC action on Saturday at Franklin College in a doubleheader Saturday. Tip-off is at 3:00 pm.
