CINCINNATI, Ohio – Earlham College sophomore
Jay Bright led the Quaker women's basketball team with a career-high 32 points in a road loss at Mount St. Joseph on Saturday afternoon. After leading by one point at halftime, the Lions managed a 92-77 final score.
Bright went 12-for-17 on field goals, and made both of her 3-point attempts.
Amari Bradford recorded her fifth career double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
With a 50% field goal percentage, the Quakers led the opening quarter 23-20. A 9-0 run at the start of the second quarter put the Lions on top, and the home squad led for the entire second half with a field goal percentage above 44%.
Earlham will be back in action at home against Defiance College on Tuesday evening. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 pm on Valentine's day in Druley Performance Gym.
