LIMA, Ohio – The Earlham College women's golf team began its spring season at the Bluffton Spring Invitational on Sunday.

Originally scheduled for a two-day event, competition was canceled on Saturday due to weather.

The Quakers finished in seventh place as a team with a total score of 424.

Alana Marie Weaver led EC with a 78 on the course. Weaver was the fourth-place finisher overall, and was just six over par on the day. 

Mackinzie Laughlin was second on the Quaker lineup with a score of 101 to finish in 31st place overall. Mary Josephine Easley ended the day with a 106.

The next outing for the Quakers is scheduled for April 14-15 at the IU East Women's Spring Classic.
