RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's golf team took 11th place at the IU East Fall Invitational over the weekend at Highland Lake G.C.


Lyla Chrisman led the Quakers in 29th place individually, scoring 164(+20) in the two-day tournament. Izzy Flint scored an 86 on round one to place 45th overall with a total score of 175. Ally Hutchinson was close behind in 46th place with a 176. Chrisman also tied Flint's school record in a 36-hole event from last year's Randy Sadler Invitational. Chirsman tied the 36-hole record score, and the score to par.


Brileigh Quillen-Popejoy and Mary Kaitlyn Bauer rounded out the Quaker lineup in 50th and 66th place respectively. 

As a team, the Quakers set new program records in both the 18-hole team score and the 36-hole team score. Earlham shot 342(+54) on Sunday, and went 694(+118) for the weekend to set the new school records. 


Earlham will hit the course again next weekend for the Randy Sadler Invitational at Liberty G.C. The two-day event begins on September 12th.
