ANGOLA, Ind. – The Earlham College women's golf team opened fall competition at the Trine Kick-Off Classic on Tuesday. 


As a team, the Quakers finished in seventh place in the 12-team field. 


Izzy Flint led the squad, placing in 12th individually with a score of 82 on the day. Freshman Lyla Chrisman finished in 26th place individually after scoring 87. 


Mary Kaitlyn Bauer shot 91 to finish in 36th place, while Ally Hutchinson finished just one stroke behind in 39th place. Brileigh Quillen-Popejoy rounded out the Quaker lineup in 41st place with a score of 94. 


The Quakers will hit the course again on Friday at the IU East Fall Invitational at Highland Lake G.C.
